Labor Day weekend September 2008

We decided to take off on a last minute weekend get away to Punto Peñasco (a.k.a. Rocky Point), Mexico. The girls loved every bit of it. It made them realize that they really wanted to learn Spanish after hearing their mom and dad speak it with all the locals. It was a fun adventure staying at the resort, going to the beach and going shopping for fun stuff in Mexico. Some highlights were finding sea shells and critters out on the coral reef at low tide, swimming in the resort pools, playing in the ocean, going shopping, and of course buying fun junk at the border on the way home!
